Recognizing the importance of familiarizing new international students with university regulations, as well as addressing significant educational and student-related matters, the Student Affairs and Cultural Deputy of the Office of the Vice President for International Affairs, in conjunction with the Office of the Vice President for Education, the Disciplinary Committee of Iran University of Medical Sciences (IUMS), and student representatives (from the previous semester), organized five workshops in December 2023. These workshops were attended by 720 new students enrolled in the first semester of 2023-2024, held at Shahid Hemat (the IUMS Main Campus) (three sessions), Rasoul Akram Teaching Hospital, and Shahr-e Ghods Campus (two sessions).
