Introduction

The medical surgical department of the School of Nursing and Midwifery of Iran University of Medical Sciences has 19 faculty members, including 2 professor, 2 associate professors, 10 assistant professors, and 5instructors.

This department tries to create a dynamic atmosphere in the field of education, research and training of committed nursing human resources in different stages. Using new educational technologies make us able to create excellence and scientific growth in students and ultimately improve the health of society.

Medical Surgical Department has 3 master degrees professions as Medical Surgical Nursing, Critical Care Nursing and Emergency Nursing.
Department also trains international master's degree students in medical surgical nursing and critical care nursing. The faculty members of this department are ready to take part in international and interdisciplinary activities in this field.
